At Stettler Veterinary Clinic your animal's best interest is our priority. We hold ourselves to a high standard of care and strive to meet and exceed that standard. Our ambulatory vet services operate year-round and after hours for emergencies. General Wellness
Stettler Vet Clinic is happy to help you with your sheep and goat herds! We are able to help with overall management plans for the herd and also with individual animal health. We also have a PhD nutritionist on staff for feed and mineral consultations.
Vaccines & Deworming
Most vaccines and dewormers are not licensed for use in sheep/goats in Canada. Please contact us for recommendations that are specific to your herd. We do have a wide range of products available that are suited for use in these species.
Reproductive Services
Our veterinarians are skilled in pregnancy diagnosis. They are also able to help with artifical insemination and breeding synchronization protocols. At lambing and kidding time, our veterinarians are also able to aid with dystocias and perform cesarians if needed.
We are also able to perform breeding soundness evaluations on your herd sires either in clinic or on farm to ensure the are ready for the breeding season. We are able to test large numbers of rams and bucks in a reasonable amount of time. We hold rams and bucks to the same standards we would cattle.
