Helene Neal, RVT
Helene started with at Stettler Vet Clinic in August 2013 and has been enjoying her time here meeting all our wonderful clients. Helene graduated from University College of the Cariboo (now known as Thompson Rivers University) in Kamloops British Columbia. Some of her interests include reading science fiction and fantasy books, knitting, quilting, cross stitching, sewing and Tae Kwon do. She is slowly learning to play guitar and piano. Helene has a dog, two cats and a bearded dragon at home; that along with her husband and two boys keep her fairly busy.
Melissa Whelpton, RVT
Melissa was raised on a beef and grain farm in Moosomin, Saskatchewan . She has grown up with a love for animals both big and small. When Melissa isn't at work she loves to be horseback riding, curling, dancing and enjoying drama and musical theatre. She has travelled to Cuba, Maui and Bangladesh and has a desire to travel more and see what the world has to offer. She graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Olds College in June 2018 and is very excited to start her career at Stettler's busy mixed animal clinic.
Athena Peters, RVT
Athena was raised on a small farm and has always loved animals big and small. She graduated from the Olds College Animal health Program June of 2018. She joined Stettler Veterinary Clinic in September of 2018 as a Registered Veterinary Technologist. Her main interests are in dentistry and large animal, but enjoys the diversity of a busy mixed practice! In her free time she can be found painting, fishing, horseback riding or chasing cows.
Nicole Hewitt, RVT
Nicole grew up on an acreage near Alliance, AB surrounded by animals, fueling her passion for animals of all shapes and sizes! After graduating from Lakeland College’s AHT program in 2017, Nicole began her career in a busy emergency centre and acquired a BSc. in Agricuture at the University of Lethbridge. With her schooling completed, she is happy to have joined Stettler Vet Clinics’s fanatic team in June 2020 where she can be closer to her family. Although her passion still lies in emergency and critical care, the diversity of a mixed practice keeps her on her toes! When not at work, she enjoys horse back riding, snowboarding and skiing. Nicole resides in Forestburg with her fiancé, Chloe her dog, and James her cat.
